The holidays. For some families, it’s a time you look forward to family gatherings. For the rest of us, we’re forced to spend time with those wack-job family members that you have to see every year. Here at WJFK, our dysfunctional family starts in the studio and will grow all day because we’re inviting you to be part of the WJFK Dysfunctional Family Friday with Best Buy.

On Friday December 12th we’re putting The Junkies, Big O & Dukes and The Mike O’Meara Show in the studio at the same time to do one big, 13-hour show. The dysfunction starts at 5:55 AM and wraps up at 7PM.

We’re not sure exactly what’s going to happen, but it’s definitely something you do not want to miss. We’ll even be handing off some cool prizes courtesy of Best Buy.

Listen in car. Listen at work. Listen at home. We don’t care where you are – just listen. Your family may not look so weird after this.

Almost game time. Anyone else out here knows just how cold it is. I’m pretty much a girl right now if you know what I’m saying…. Oh and I figured I’d snap a shot of some of the pants cakes will be wearing next week.

The Last Hurrah?

We’ve all heard the boys talk about the crappy ratings, plus the Junkies as well as the Mike O’Meara Show.  I hope to Jesus they don’t pull an HFS and make the switch or drop BOAD.  Everyday I look forward to hearing Chad yell at a stupid caller and Oscar talk about his iPhone and Drab being gay.  If this is truly the end for BOAD or even WJFK entirely, it will be a sad day for radio, and entertainment in general.  We have our differences over how some people associated with the show act or treat other people, but NOBODY would want to see the show or the station canned.  AZ

UFC 91 Viewing Party

Agent Zero here to remind all the animals that on November 15, Big O and Dukes are having a UFC 91 viewing party at Velocity Five in Falls Church.  Swing Dick it up, get hammered, and watch the Couture vs. Lesnar fight. The party is from 10 p.m. – 12 a.m.  Be sure to get the famous Oscar Santana brushoff.

Hopefully Jaws, aka Chad Dukes will not still be numb and drooling into the mic from his visit to Dr. Hidalgo on Monday so we can get back to a good show that will get us all through our boring day jobs. I know I for one wouldn’t make it until 3:00 without the show and I know most of you feel the same way regardless of the crazy shit that’s gone down over the past few days. I encourage everyone to listen to and enjoy the show on Monday. We all became fans for a reason. Don’t let your emotions about other off air stuff get in the way of realizing that the show is good. We all became fans for a reason. No need to harbor resentment now. Keep showing your support. I for one would be devastated if I turned on the radio and could no longer hear B.O.A.D. The months they were off air after Baltimore were incredibly boring during the day and I don’t wish for a second that it happens again.

Best Of For Today’s Show!

Well guys since Chad Dukes is out getting his teeth drilled by Daniel Plainview the boys are on best of for today’s show. I’m sure most of you have figured it out by now, but just in case you didn’t I figured I might as well let everyone know. Everyone send their best wishes to Chad. Root canals do not sound like fun.

Looks like to me the whole reason he is upset is because he won’t be making money off the show anymore. JFK started their own store where the guys have said on air that all the money is going to events for them so they could give out better prizes and do bigger events.

Bussels will lie, but he was making a nice profit off those shirts, considering that it cost $1.85 to ship something and $5 for a cotton shirt. Not to mention the shirt I bought from him was complete trash. I washed it one time, and the entire graphic came off. How much business did you get by them plugging your site on air, and then you wanted to have JFK pay you? You got a lot of balls dude. You look foolish because the other guy gave up all his designs for the good of the show while you threw a fit because it took business away from you.

As for the message board, why don’t u just give up. It’s just gonna be a bunch of what they call third mics who think they can do a show better than those guys. Seems like Bussels became one of them, and thought he mattered more than he really does. Your just a creepy fan who was bilking loyal listeners. How’s that for free speech?”

Get a clue dude. First of off I’d LOVE to know where you got the $1.85 shipping cost from. I ship everything USPS Priority mail which is $4.74. Blank shirts cost around $3 a piece. That’s $7.74 right there. If you remember I started off selling at 15.74 SHIPPED so knock off $7.74 and we’re down to $8.00. Ok, $8 a shirt sounds like a killing I’m sure…..ok then add in the cost of opaque white ink $20 a quart, Screens $25 a piece (1 for every color of a design), screen coating emulsion $30 a quart, squeegees $1 PER INCH * 12″ * a squeegee for every color. Then add on the cost of chemicals to clean the screens so I can reuse them. You want me to keep going because I sure have more I could list. 75% of the money I was making on shirts went right back into buying supplies to make more shirts.

As for the quality of my product you are f*cking insane. If I sold you 1 bad one you shouldev sent it back for a replacement or refund. Look at my Google store feedback. It’s 4.99 out of 5 so suck it.

Also, if you wanna go there and talk about quality I have 2 original Big O & Dukes gears logo shirts which are cracking like crazy….why…because they weren’t dried properly. I’ve heard from a TON of people saying their NoShtick shirts are cracking too so don’t talk about my quality.

To address the shipping part again…how are you gonna get on me for charging $4.74 to ship when the official store charges $1.00 processing fee + $5.25 to ship. hmmmm. Where’s the extra money going? Into SOMEONE’S pocket. It’s not just evaporating.

For the last time. I am not mad one bit about WJFK selling their own shirts. Chad told me months ago it was gonna happen and I said I’d just sell NSZ shirts when it happened. What pissed me off was when I was told to hand my artwork over to Colorworks for them to sell for the station. I said no and then got publicly blasted on NSZ for it. I never once asked for WJFK to pay me for anything. Why the F would I do that? I retaliated, got banned (and broke no rules), and now I’m starting a fan forum for those FANS who would like to speak their mind.

Calling a fan who wants to post their OPINION a third mic is a pretty douchey thing to say. A forum shouldn’t be about ass kissing it should be about fans getting together to discuss a show they enjoy. As for calling me a 3rd mic, are you retarded? I never called into the show once in 4yrs, never posted anything on the forum about how they should do the show. I LOVE THE SHOW lol.

Apparently someone is missing the point. Check your facts buddy.

Just wanna clear some things up.

Hey guys it seems like everyone is startin to go nuts all of the sudden. I just wanted to clear a few things up and explain why I’m starting a new forum for those who want to join.

* I have no ill feelings toward the Big O & Dukes Show. I love the show and have done a million things to help them out over the past 4yrs and I won’t stop. I believe it’s a good product.

* No one should be hating on Erik for anything he has done. He has made it known that NoShtickZone is now a show forum where people need to only talk favorably about the show. That’s how he wants to run the site which is cool with me, but I know I and a lot of others would rather have a FAN forum run by fans for the fans where we can speak our mind; positive or negative without fearing that our posts will be deleted, we will be banned, or belittled if we don’t agree with something. Both forums should be able to coexist and in my honest opinion having MORE forums will help the show spread even more.

* I would like to turn O&D World into strictly a fan site with no show related influences so we can all share what we like as well as what we dislike about certain segments, etc. Afterall….that’s what a fan site should be all about. You think Stern ever goes on SternFanNetwork.com and regulates when people bitch about him…NO CHANCE. Actually he has probably never even gone to the site at all.

No ill will people. I still support the SHOW 100% whether the cast ends up hating me or not. I don’t have to agree with the off air conduct to believe in the product and support it.
